March was a busy month for Menzies CNAC Aviation Academy as its instructors hosted nearly 200 students from Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) for tours of the operations at Hong Kong International Airport.  

The participants from the institute’s aviation programme first attended an informational session in the Academy to introduce the smart technologies and intermodal connectivity being developed at the airport.  Next, our instructors guided students on a tour of the airport’s landside and airside passenger handling areas, the basement baggage handling system, the SkyPier, Automated People Mover, and visited the ramp to observe aircraft loading and unloading operations.  

The students, keen to make a career in Hong Kong’s aviation sector had many questions about the Menzies CNAC operations and the internships and full-time roles available to them in the future.  

Menzies CNAC Aviation Academy is proud to support students of IVE, including the many students who have chosen to come to Hong Kong and join its aviation industry under the VPAS scheme.

三月對於中航明捷航空學院而言是個忙碌的月份，學院導師接待了近200名來自香港專業教育學院（IVE）的學生，帶領他們參觀香港國際機場的營運設施。

學生首先在中航明捷航空學院參加一場簡介會，了解機場正在發展的智能科技及運輸系統。隨後，在導師的帶領下，學生們參觀了機場的陸側與禁區客運區域、位地下行李處理系統、海天碼頭及自動旅客捷運系統，並前往停機坪觀察飛機裝卸貨物的操作過程。

這些渴望投身香港航空業的學生，提出了不少關於中航明捷的營運情況，並積極詢問有關未來於本公司實習及全職職位的機會。中航明捷航空學院很榮幸能夠協助香港專業教育學院的學生，包括眾多透過「職專畢業生留港計劃」（VPAS）來港並投身航空業的學生。
