Menzies CNAC is dedicated to building a sustainable future for aviation. We are advancing our environmental management initiatives in line with the IATA Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) Ground Handler standard, integrating sustainability into our daily operations. Our carbon emission scope covers baggage and cargo loading and offloading, airside crew transport, GSE operations, passenger services, and office operations. Across these areas, we are committed to continuously improving our environmental performance and achieving meaningful progress in carbon reduction and resource efficiency.
We are mindful of the environmental impact of our operations and actively promote sustainable business practices. Together with the commitment made by the Airport Authority, we are among the first ground handling companies at Hong Kong International Airport to adopt electric ground service equipment, solar-powered passenger steps, and low-emission vehicles to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support greener airport operations.
To further minimize our environmental impact, we have committed to decarbonization by joining the BEC Net-zero Carbon Charter, setting carbon reduction targets, and advocating collective climate action. We also participate in Hong Kong International Airport's Carbon Capacity Building Programme. Sustainability remains an integral part of our business, and we will continue working with our employees, customers, and business partners to create a more sustainable future for our industry and community.
