Our carbon emission scope covers baggage and cargo loading and offloading, airside crew transport, GSE operations and maintenance, passenger service, and office operations – and we are passionately committed to achieving our carbon emission reduction targets across all these areas.
We have long been recognized as a Caring Company in recognition of our commitment to caring for community, employees and environment. We are mindful of the environmental impact that our operations make. Together with the commitment made by the Airport Authority, we are among the first few companies at Hong Kong International Airport to adopt electric ground service equipment, solar powered passenger steps, and fuel efficient and low-emission vehicles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
To further minimize our environmental impact, we have committed to set and achieve decarbonisation targets by signing up the BEC Net-zero Carbon Charter, submit the company and target details and advocate collective decarbonisation. We are also part of Hong Kong International Airport’s Carbon Capacity Building Programme.
